Little Chefs provides healthy and easy hands-on cooking experiences. Toddlers will have fun spreading, mixing, and stirring ingredients which will help them understand and apply knowledge of measuring, counting, and following directions. Inspire your toddler to be a healthy, curious, and self-confident Little Chef. Little Chefs takes place in the Discovery Lab.

Chinese Lantern Festival @ The Fairplex

Chinese Lantern Festival returns for the holiday season at the Pomona Fairplex with its BRAND NEW illuminated theme- ‘Blooming Seasons’. Bigger and brighter stunning lanterns are inspired by nature and the art of Chinese lantern making ,dating back to 2,000 years ago. Each lantern is hand-crafted of modern materials and eco-friendly colored LED lightbulbs, as well as visual moving parts to create larger-than-life imaginative displays.

Experience exhibits up to 30 feet high, an 85-foot-wide Arch,100-yard-long breathtaking Ceramic Chinese Dragon,20 feet high gigantic flower basket springs over the hillside.

Explore vibrant lanterns depicting the Amazon Jungle, discover giant Python, spider, and carnivorous plants.

Journey deep into a vast wonderland from exotic trees, plants,insects to reptiles. It’s the four seasons of nature, plus an assortment of animals that correspond to their given environment.

Thursday through Sunday (5:30 pm-10 pm ) PLUS holidays (and special holiday displays!)Nov.21 through Jan.5.

The Magical Chinese Lantern Festival will also feature:

– Mythical creature rides for children (with adult supervision)

– Food and concessions

– Authentic live Chinese folk musical concert and traditional dance show

– Holiday displays,including your photo taken with lantern Santa Claus

– Folk art souvenir booths

Entry – Gates open 5:30 p.m. – 10:00 p.m. Last admission at 9:20 p.m.

Tickets – You do not have to bring a printed ticket, you may show us on your mobile device your electronic ticket

Children under 4 Free

Refund Policy – 1 Day Before the ticket date.

Fairplex Parking – $ 12 per car to be collected at Fairplex Gate 17

Weather Conditions – Rain and strong wind can affect everyone’s plans. When rain or high wind comes, we will close the festival and patrons will be allowed to use their tickets for another time during the festival season
